In 2017, Dibella once again demonstrated how seriously the company takes the use of sustainable fiber raw materials. The current market report "Preferred Fiber & Materials", published by the non-profit organization Textile Exchange, places Dibella among the top 10 in two categories.
Dibella is one of the pioneers of sustainable textiles for the hotel industry, catering trade and in the healthcare. Just under a decade ago, the company presented its first range of fair-trade cotton products, certified according to the internationally recognized Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Since then, the proportion of organic cotton has been continuously increased. In order to offer sustainable alternatives for blended fabrics, Dibella is increasingly replacing the polyester content in textiles with recycled polyester from the Repreve brand. This is recognized worldwide and enjoys a high degree of credibility.

Dibella's ongoing efforts to design the product range with socially and ecologically responsible fiber raw materials are gaining international recognition. The "Preferred Fiber & Materials Market Report 2017", published by the non-profit organization Textile Exchange, places the company two times in the Top 10. Dibella is now the world's fourth largest producer of organic cotton from fair trade (Organic Fair Trade) and has once again surpassed its ranking of the previous year (2016: 5th place).
Steep career with recycled polyester
For the first time this year, Dibella is also honoured in the "Recycled Polyester Leaderboard". The company has been awarded 7th place worldwide for its growth in the use of recycled polyester fibers, and is playing in the same league as international outdoor brands and large clothing companies.
