Holism per se - also known as the doctrine of wholeness - is the idea that natural systems and their properties should be considered as a whole and not just as a composition of their parts. This approach was first applied by the hessnatur Foundation to the production processes in the textile industry.
This holistic approach refers not only to the pure production process, but to the entire value chain, from use by the customer to re/upcycling.
“We believe in doing good by creating long-life textiles, respecting natural resources and placing people at the centre of our actions.
Our value chain is greatly appreciated.”
