In its latest sustainability report, Dibella documents its progress in the core topics of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) for the period 2023 to July 2024. The company has achieved further improvements. One highlight is undoubtedly the almost complete awarding of the Green Button 2.0 to the product range and the associated extensive fulfilment of the Supply Chain Act (LkSG).

Every Dibella textile can be fitted with an RFID transponder that we ‘hide’ in the seam of an item. We offer Datamars tags as standard, which are widely used in the textile service industry. We also offer other services that make it easier to integrate the goods directly into the service cycle.

Help against Inflation: Dibella supports Team in Pakistan

Dibella has now paid an inflationary adjustment to the Pakistani workers in the production facility who produce the bed linen for the company. In Pakistan, where one of the company’s main suppliers is based, persistently high inflation is putting a considerable strain on the living conditions of the workers employed there.
Community project for vital drinking water

For the third time, the GoodTextiles Foundation is realising a WASH community project together with Cotton made in Africa (CmiA). In cooperation with the CmiA-verified cotton company Sofitex, hand-operated pumps were installed in two villages in Burkina Faso/Africa to improve the drinking water supply. The three partners have also trained the villagers in the use of water, particularly with regard to disease prevention, hygiene and healthcare.

Product transparency thanks to respect-code

In the future, every textile placed on the market in the EU is to be labelled with a digital product passport in order to facilitate reuse and recycling and at the same time make supply chains more transparent. At Dibella, this disclosure has long been part of everyday practice: items labelled with the respect-code document their entire life cycle.
